High school soccer roundup: Drury boys win Berkshire South
NORTH ADAMS >> The Drury boys soccer team used three second-half goals to defeat Hoosac Valley 4-1 on Monday.
The win clinches the South Division for the Blue Devils (13-0-2, 6-0-2 Berkshire South). It's their first division title in over a decade.
Steve Crouch put Hoosac (3-7-1, 2-3-1) ahead in the 17th minute, but Drury responded with four unanswered goals.
Jon Boland and Reece Racette had two goals each.
"It's the first time the seniors beat Hoosac. It crosses a few things off our preseason list," Hoosac coach John Jacobbe said. "It's back-to-back games where we gave up the first goal and we came out with a win and a tie. To clinch the South is a great feeling."

Brendan Dempsey and Cavan Brady each scored and had an assist for the Eagles (11-2-1, 5-1-1 Berkshire South).
For the Braves (4-9-1, 2-5), Cody Latimer recorded eight saves.

GREAT BARRINGTON >> Monument Mountain held a one-goal lead after the first 40 minutes and the Spartans put the game away with two unanswered goals in the second half against Mount Greylock.
Dan Newey got the Spartans off to a fast start with a goal two minutes in. Sam Dils tied the score in the 30th minute, but Henry Rauscher put the Spartans back on top a minute later. Mitch Amstead added an insurance goal in the 33rd minute.
Monument coach Matt Naventi said he was happy with how his team responded after Dils' equalizer.
"Our response, to go out and score two in three minutes, that's the response any coach would want from his team," he said.

WILLIAMSTOWN >> Madison Ross' goal in the 11th minute was the difference for Mount Greylock.
Karen McComish assisted on the goal for the Mounties (6-7-1, 1-4-1 Berkshire North) while Rachel Voller had 12 saves.
"We're playing for our tournament lives," Mount Greylock coach Tom Ostheimer said. "We're trying to qualify. We have to take every game one at a time and get some points. We need five more with four games left, so we've still got work to do."
For the Hurricanes (9-5-1, 3-3), Kailynne Frederick registered five saves.

DALTON >> Pittsfield erased its one-goal halftime deficit, using a Hannah Dargie goal to force a tie against Wahconah.
Ilana Albert started the scoring for the Generals, but Wahconah answered with two consecutive goals. Amelia Dougherty scored the second goal, putting the Wahconah up 2-1 with 6 minutes and 3 second left in the first half.
Dargie tied the game off a feed from Lindsey Schnopp, three minutes into the second half.
