Tuesday January 1, 2013

GREENFIELD -- Ryan Ouimet recorded six assists and Wahconah rallied in the second period to defeat Turners Falls 7-3 in the Rabbitt Graves Holiday Tournament.

Ouimet, who had three goals and seven assists in the two-game event, was MVP.

The Warriors trailed 2-1 early in the second period and were tied at 3-3 until Turners took a pair of penalties with five minutes left in the period.

"We scored on the five-on-three and then on the five-on-four, and that was huge," said Warrior coach Don Disbrow. "That was a big boost for us going into the last period."

Wahconah scored twice more in the final period. Lane Grogan had a pair of goals and three assists for the winners.
