IEEE annual meeting on May 1

PITTSFIELD -- The Berkshire Section of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers will hold its annual dinner meeting on Thursday, May 1 at Zucchini’s Restaurant.

Presentations by the winners in the IEEE Science Writing Contest will take place. Cocktails take place at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The presentations will occur after dinner. The reservation deadline is Thursday, April 24.

The cost for IEEE members and one guest is $12 or $13, depending on meal choice, or $15 per person. The cost for non-IEEE member varies ranges from $26 to $35 per person, depending on meal choice, or $35 per person. Attendees who do not eat dinner will be admitted free.

The Berkshire Section will also be holding its award drawing for children of IEEE Berkshire Section members who will be attending an accredited college on a full-time basis this fall. Three names will be drawn, and each awarded $100. Forms for the drawing are required to be completed by Thursday, April 24.
