Stockbridge: Social worker to give presentation
Crayton Rowe, MSW, BCD-P, will present "Understanding the Undifferentiated Selfobject: A Redefinition of Symptoms and Disorders -- A Case Example" from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday at The Red Lion Inn.
This presentation is co-sponsored by the Western Massachusetts and Albany Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology and the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work and is for clinicians only.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. The fee is $20 for WMAAPP members, and $25 for non-members. Admission is free for graduate students with identification.

Lee: IEEE chapter to hold dinner meeting
The Berkshire Section of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers will hold the power chapter dinner meeting on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Cork ‘N Hearth Restaurant on Route 20.
The topic is: "Smart Grid, Trends in Integrated Power System Protection and Control." The presenter is John J. Kumm of Power Engineers Inc. in Clarkston, Wash.
Cocktails take place at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The presentation will take place after dinner.
The price for IEEE members and one guest is $20 or $22 a person. The price for nonmembers is $36 or $40 per person. Those not eating dinner will be admitted free. The deadline to make reservations is Monday, Oct. 22.

Sheffield: Adams/Cheshire/Savoy grants open
The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation has set Thursday, Nov. 1 as the deadline for submitting grant applications to the William J. and Margery S. Barrett Fund for Adams, Cheshire and Savoy.
Nonprofits, community organizations, or public agencies that serve the residents of those three towns are eligible to submit applications. Early childhood education is a priority. Last year, the fund distributed $74,763 to eight nonprofits.
