Pittsfield: Career Center slates workshops

The BerkshireWorks Career Center has a variety of workshops, seminars and other events scheduled for next week.


Monday: Closed for Labor Day.

Pittsfield: Bank donates money toward ALS

Berkshire Bank donated $50 for each of the first 50 employees that took place in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Aug. 14. The participants shared their videos on Facebook.

Among the employees who completed the challenge during the first three days were President & CEO Michael P. Daly; Executive Vice President, Retail Banking Sean Gray; Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer Linda Johnston; Executive Vice President Chief Risk & Administrative Officer Richard Marotta; Executive Vice President & CFO Josephine Iannelli; and Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking George Bacigalupo.

More than 150 employees in the bank’s four-state coverage area have participated in the challenge, along with several of Berkshire’s vendors and business partners.

The Berkshire Bank Foundation will make a $2,500 contribution to the ALS Association as a result of employee participation in the challenge.
