Lee: 2 named incorporators at Lee Bank

Jason "Jake" McCandless and Stacy Allegrone-Lewis were selected as incorporators at Lee Bank during the bank’s annual meeting this month.

McCandless is superintendent of the Pittsfield Public Schools, and former superintendent of the Lee Public School District. He holds a doctoral degree in education administration from Boston College, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Virginia.

Allegrone-Lewis has been a principal with the Allegrone Companies since 2002. She formerly served as a project engineer for Shawmut Design and Construction, and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tufts University.

Pittsfield: Chamber to celebrate bank’s 125th

The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank’s 125th anniversary at its monthly Chamber Nite event on Wednesday.

The event will take place in tent located behind the bank’s main office at 70 South St. Networking and celebrations take place between 5 and 7 p.m.

The Berkshire Chamber offers monthly networking opportunities as a free benefit to its members. Chamber Nite events are open exclusively to Berkshire Chamber members and their employees.

Pittsfield: Professional Women to hold convention

Business and Professional Women of Massachusetts will hold its state convention Saturday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Registration takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The business meeting takes place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Election of officers and the adoption of a budget will take place, while consideration will be given to amendments to bylaws.

Other activities include the reception of reports from officers and committee chairs, and action on recommendations from the executive committee, resolutions and other business.

All BPA/MA members are invited to attend and participate. Voting is limited to members in good standing.
