Green named partner
in Berk. County law firm

Attorney Pamela R. Green has been named a partner in the law firm of Parese, Sabin, Smith & Gold, which also has an office in Pittsfield.

Green, who joined the firm in 2011, concentrates her practice on the areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, guardianship and real estate.

A magna cum laude graduate of Western New England University School of Law, Green served as managing editor of the Law Review and published an article on interstate wine shipments. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in world politics from The Catholic University of America.

Green has co-authored two chapters in real estate law treatises published by Massachusetts Continuing Education Inc., and was also a 2013 recipient of the Boston Magazine "SuperLawyers Rising Star" distinction.

Originally from Lowell, Green and her husband Jay have lived in Pittsfield since 2005.

Great Barrington:

McMally appointed chief medical officer

Dr. Siobhan McNally has been appointed Chief Medical Officer at Community Health Programs, the organization has announced.

She has been with CHP since 2008. McNally started as a consultant, then became a member of CHP’s provider team at both the Neighborhood Health Center and CHP’s Great Barrington Health Center.

McNally holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Yale University and received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts. She is board certified both in pediatrics and public health and preventive medicine.

McNally has practiced primary care pediatrics for more than 25 years.


Bureau to promote tourism in NY trip

Representatives of the Berkshire Visitors Bureau will be among 20 Western Massachusetts tourism professionals who will embark on Monday for a three-day trip to Long Island, N.Y.

They will meet with 12 group tour operators to promote the Berkshires as an ideal bus-friendly destination.

Representatives from the Sterling & Francine Clark Art Museum, The Norman Rockwell Museum, the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art are also participating in the trip.
