Pittsfield: Seminars at BerkshireWorks
The BerkshireWorks Career Center has a variety of workshops and seminars scheduled for this week.
Today, the Elder Services Senior Aid Program will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Elder Services senior aide positions are available. Applicants must be age 55 or older, and income eligible. Registration: berkshireworks.org.
On Thursday, North County Job Search will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Adams Visitors Center, and 1 to 4 p.m. at the North Adams Public Library. Walk-ins are welcome.
Also on Thursday, a seminar titled "Interview More EffectivelY" will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Presenting a positive first impression, knowing what to expect, and preparation for each stage of the interview will be discussed. Pittsfield: Chamber Nite at NBT Bank tonight
The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Chamber Nite event today at NBT Bank’s Pittsfield Financial Center at 54 North St. Ribbon cutting for the new financial center will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by networking and celebrations from 5 to 7 p.m.

Pittsfield: Open house at acupuncturist
Pittsfield Community Acupuncture will be holding a, open house on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Sunrise Studio, located about the Nautilus Gym at 42 Summer St. The hours are 5 to 7 p.m.
A free group acupuncture treatment will take place, along with restorative gong exercises, while foods that are beneficial moving into spring will be discussed.
