Buy in the Berkshires
Expo to be May 29

The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will host the fifth annual Buy in the Berkshires Expo on Wednesday, May 29 at Meadow View at Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club.

Business-to-business networking for exhibitors takes place from 3 to 4 p.m. The public is invited between 4 and 7 p.m. There is no admission fee.

Businesses can choose from indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces with either six or eight tables.

Social-media use
to be BYP topic

The Berkshire Young Professionals will hold a power-hour session, "Social Media and Technology Hazards," on Tuesday, May 21, at Spice Dragon, 297 North St. at 5:30 p.m.

Matthew Martin, community service representative for Mildred Elley, is presenter.

The dos and do nots of using social media, with a heavy emphasis on Facebook, will be discussed, along with how social media can be used to increase sales or generate additional business.

Admission is free for BYP cardholders, and $10 for those without cards.

Berkshire ARC plans
golf tournament

Berkshire County ARC will hold its 19th annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 23 at Berkshire Hills Country Club under a captain and crew format.

Two flights will be held at 7:30 a.m. and at 12:30 p.m.

The fee is $135 per player, which includes cart, green fees, breakfast, lunch and

Wine gala planned
at Berkshire Museum

The Berkshire Museum will hold its ninth biennial Wine Gala and Auction on Saturday, May 18, at 5 p.m.
