West Stockbridge: Stone House taps new Realtor
Victoria Ross has joined the sales team at Stone House Properties LLC as an associate broker.
Ross has been a licensed Realtor in Berkshire County since 2005 and holds two nationally recognized real estate designations: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) through the National Association of Realtors.
She was previously associated with McLean Realtors in Lenox for eight years.
Ross currently serves as a state director for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and is serving her second term as president of Berkshire Business & Professional Women.
Stockbridge: Clothing sale for economic group
BerkChique, a pop-up shop and gently used clothing sale sponsored by Berkshire Creative and the Red Lion Inn, will take place on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 at the Stockbridge Town Offices on 50 Main St.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 19. A preview party and sale will be held on Friday, May 17.
All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Berkshire Creative Economy Council including Spark! networking events, CreativeNext Business Resource Meetings, the Creative Challenge, and more creative economy growth resources.
Pittsfield: IEEE to fete winning science writers
The Berkshire Section of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers will recognize the winners of this year's IEEE Science Writing Contest at the organization's annual dinner meeting on Thursday, May 9.
The meeting will take place at Zucchini's Restaurant, 1331 North St. Cocktails are served at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, May 2.
The costs for IEEE members and one guest are $10, $12 and $15. Prices for nonmembers are $22, $25 or $32. Those who do not eat dinner will be admitted free.
The top three finishers among Grades 11/12 are, in order, Kevin C. Li, Julian Michaels and Emily Martin, all of Monument Mountain Regional High School.
