In Northern Berkshire District Court on Thursday:

Christopher Chapin, 36, of Jackson Street, North Adams, pleaded guilty to violating an abuse prevention order and was sentenced to five days in jail, with two days of credit for time already served.

Robert Bushika, 32, of Bracewell Avenue, North Adams, had a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon dismissed for a failure to prosecute because the witness was not present.

On Friday:

Timothy Lemay, 48, of Spencer Road, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle that was continued without a finding until Feb. 12, 2016. He was fined $50. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle was continued without a finding and dismissed. He was also found not responsible for his registration not being in possession and improper operation of a motor vehicle.

Courtney Gabrus, 20, of Church Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise that was continued without a finding until Feb. 12, 2016. She was fined $50.

Morgan Pettit, 21, of Summer Street, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration that was continued without a finding until Feb. 12, 2016. Pettit was fined $50. Charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle were continued without a finding and dismissed.

Briana Locke, 37, of Bellevue Avenue, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended license, subsequent offense, that was continued without a finding until May 13, 2016. She was fined $50. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle was continued without a finding and dismissed. Locke was found not responsible for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
