Eagles Band concert
slated for Tuesday
The Eagles Band, celebrating 76 years, will perform an outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Springside Park.
Selections will include themes from the movies and favorite sitcoms including "Themes Like Old Times" (a sing-along), "Hollywood!" and "A Symphony of Sitcoms."
Patrons should bring a blanket or chair and take advantage of the picnic-like atmosphere. In the event of rain, Springside Park concerts will be held at First United Methodist Church on Fenn Street.
New band members are welcome to sit in during rehearsals on Monday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. The band encourages middle and high school students to join.

YMCA Camp Sumner
field trips planned
The Pittsfield Family YMCA announces the weekly field trip lineup as part of its Camp Sumner program. Registrations are still being accepted for Camp Sumner’s weekly sessions through Aug. 31.
Children entering grades 3-6, as well as those enrolled in its Leaders in Training program, will go on weekly field trips through Session 8.
Upcoming field trips include: Tanglewood (July 20), Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort (July 26), Barrington Stage Company (Aug. 2), Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival (Aug. 9), USS Slater in Al bany (Aug. 16), and Bous quet Ski Area (Aug. 23).
Camp Sumner is open to children ages 5 years to ninth grade and is held at Berkshire Community College. One-week sessions meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Aug. 31.
All campers must have a Y membership. The camp cost is $120 per session. The one-time annual youth membership fee is $36.
The Y also offers Junior Golf Camp (ages 6-13 years) and Leaders in Training (entering grades 7-9).
Before- and after-camp care is available, as well as bus transportation from the Y and Allendale and Egremont elementary schools.

Town has issued water restrictions
The town has issued a water supply emergency in accordance with town bylaws restricting the use of sprinklers until further notice.
Earthdance to host
moving arts festival
Earthdance Creative Liv ing Project will host the Western Mass. Moving Arts Festival from Aug. 16 to 19 at Earthdance, an artist-run workshop, residency and retreat center located at 252 Prospect St.
People from a range of disciplines and skill levels are invited to spend three days of intensive study and creative retreat with locally and nationally renowned movement, music and theater artists.
A faculty performance open to the public will mark the final night on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 8 p.m.
During the week leading up to the festival, many of the faculty will be in residence at Earthdance for an interdisciplinary consortium of performance educators.
