In the courts
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
Meghan Maloy, 34, of Lanesborough, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license that was continued without a finding until May 6. She was fined $50. Maloy was found not responsible for a miscellaneous motor vehicle bylaw violation.
April Field, 35, of Brayton Hill Terrace, North Adams, had charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
Nicholas Dargie, 26, of Richmond Street, Cheshire, had a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth. He was also found not responsible for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and not having an inspection sticker.
Murray Goodhind, 36, of Blackinton Street, North Adams, had a charge of domestic assault and battery dismissed for a failure to prosecute after the alleged victim failed to appear. Latoya Tinsley, 38, of Water Street, Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle that were continued without a finding until April 6. Tinsley was fined $50.
In Southern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
Steve Michaels, 52, of East Main Street, Stockbridge, was found responsible to a charge of trespassing. He was fined $50.
Gerard B. Collins, 54, of Columbia Street, Lee, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to two counts of shoplifting by concealment. He was ordered to pay $599.34 in restitution and was placed on pretrial probation until June 16, 2016.
