In the courts ...
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
Michael T. Valentine, 26, of Hall Street, North Adams, had a charge of domestic assault and battery dismissed for a failure to prosecute.
Heather Gagne, 31, of Eagle Street, North Adams, had charges of domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property under $250 dismissed for a failure to prosecute.
Dyvon Ortiz, 24, of Onota Street, Pittsfield, admitted to sufficient facts on two counts of class B drug possession that were continued without a finding until Dec. 28.
Ronald Gamache, Jr., 47, of Gilead Street, Adams, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Steven Smith, 29, of Barlow Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
In Southern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
Nancy Miner, 54, of Housatonic Street, Lenox, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense. She was placed on probation until Aug. 27, 2018, and ordered to attend a 14-day alcohol treatment program. She was found not responsible for a charge of driving outside marked lanes. A charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident was filed.
Kirsten Zigmand, 18, of Weidmer Terrace, Sheffield, submitted to sufficient facts for a plea of guilty to one count of larceny over $250. She was ordered to pay an as yet undetermined amount of restitution.
A charge of trespassing against Sheila Faxon, 81, of Mohawk Lake Road, Stockbridge, was dismissed by the commonwealth.
