In Berkshire Superior Court Tuesday:
Shaun M. Letourneau, 34, of Dalton was arraigned on one count each of burning a building and burning wood or other property. Letourneau is accused of setting fire to a storage shed and the surrounding shrubbery on Sept. 12. He was ordered held without the right to bail pending a Jan. 12 pre-trial hearing by Judge John Agostini. The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton Police Department.
Robin F. MacDowell, 30, of Pittsfield was arraigned on eight counts of unarmed burglary, seven counts of larceny over $250, two counts of larceny under $250 and a lone count of felony daytime breaking and entering. The charges are related to a series of Pittsfield break-ins between Aug. 10 and Sept. 12. He was ordered held on $2,000 bail by Judge John Agostini and is due back in court on Feb. 3 for a pre-trial hearing. The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
James W. Morrison, 24, of Great Barrington was arraigned on four counts each of daytime felony breaking and entering and larceny over $250, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and one count each of larceny over $250 from a person 60 or older, receiving stolen property over $250, misuse of a credit card and credit card fraud under $250. Morrison is accused in a series of housebreaks in southern Berkshire County between July 31 and Sept. 15. He was ordered held on $25,000 bail by Judge John Agostini and is due back in court on March 8 for a pre-trial hearing. The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department.
