In the Courts
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
George J. Bills Jr., 31, of Readsboro, Vt., admitted to sufficient facts on charges of larceny over $250. Bills was sentenced to 60 days in the Berkshire County Jail & House of Correction.
Travis T. Perras, 21, of West Main Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on charges of attempting to commit a crime, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and intimidating a witness. Perras was sentenced to nine months in the Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction.
Rachel E. Ahearn, 21, of Main Street, Cheshire, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle that was continued without a finding until July. 29, 2015. Ahearn was fined $700, received a 45 day loss of license, and ordered to attend a driver alcohol education program.
