In Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday, July 7:

Milford Whitted, 30, of Chase Avenue, North Adams, had a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle decriminalized. Whitted was found responsible for the charge and fined $50.


In Southern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday, July 8:

John F. Costa, 32, of Chestnut Street, Lee, submitted to facts sufficient for a guilty finding to one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to surrender his license for 45 days, attend an alcohol education program and pay a total of $665 in fines. He was found not responsible for one count each of driving outside marked lanes and failure to yield.


In Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday, July 19:

Nicole Caron, 35, of Gallup Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of shoplifting by switching containers. Caron was ordered to pay $76.46 in restitution, fined $50, and placed on probation until Oct. 10, 2014.

Edward Chinnici, 53, of Main Street, Bennington, Vt., admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license that was continued without a finding until Sept. 17, 2014. Chinnici was fined $50.
