In the Courts
In Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:
Chad Miller, 35, of State Road, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of larceny over $25 and two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating under the influence. Miller was given a 60-day suspended jail sentence, ordered to pay $500 in restitution, and fined $90. He was also found responsible for a license plate violation.
James Ciepiela, 30, of Massachusetts Avenue, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of class B drug possession that was continued without a finding until Sept. 29, 2014. Ciepiela was fined $50.
Anthony Savicki, 25, of Memorial Drive, Chicopee, had a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed upon the request of the commonwealth.
Shannon Russell, 29, of State Street, North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty of shoplifting over $100 by asportation. Russell was placed on probation until Dec. 19, 2014, and fined 50.
Paul Dugal Jr., 52, of Mohawk Forest Boulevard, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of being present where heroin is kept that was continued without a finding until July 7, 2014, and fined $150.
Mikey Bliss, 25, of High Street, Dalton, had a charge of assault and battery dismissed upon the request of the victim and payment of $100 in court costs.
