In the Courts: Northern Berkshire District Court


In Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:

n Daniel Sadlo, 56, of Nobody's Road, Cheshire, had a charge of larceny over $250 from a person more than 60 years old dismissed upon the request of the defendant. In Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday:

Stephen Stanley, 29, of Beacon Street, North Adams, was found guilty of trespassing and shoplifting by concealing merchandise, third offense. Stanley was placed on probation until May 5, 2015, and fined $50.

Justin Roughley, 18, of East Deming Street, Dalton, admitted to sufficient facts on charges of littering from a motor vehicle, person under 21 in possession of alcohol, possession to distribute a class D drug, class B drug possession, and class C drug possession that were continued without a finding until May 5, 2015. Roughley was fined $50. He was found not responsible for possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding.

Carla Robinson, 49, of Norwich Street, Springfield, was found guilty of being present where heroin is kept and sentenced to 14 days in Berkshire County Jail & House of Correction, with 14 days of credit for time already served.
