Inconsistency on chemo payments
Why is it that a chemotherapy drug that is proven to be effective on one type of cancer and insurance is covered for it is not covered on another type of cancer even if it too has good results?
Cancer treatment may be covered for low income patients, but for a medium income patient ($100,000 or less, not $250,000-plus like our money bag politicians say) it is not. I guess the saying that insurance is supposed to help people is not true anymore, or never was.
Wouldn’t it make sense if the big amount of money our politicians raise for their campaigns was put to better use toward cancer research?
