Incumbents running uncontested in Florida town elections

FLORIDA — Incumbents are running unopposed for all town posts up for election next week.

Town elections are set for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Florida Town Hall, 379 Mohawk Trail.

The one-year term for town moderator is being sought by Ericka Olsen.

Melanie Medon is seeking a three-year term on the Board of Assessors. Alfred Bedini Sr. is running for a three-year term on the Board of Health. Richard LeClair is running for the three-year term as town constable.

Judith Olsen is running for the three-year term on the School Committee. Krista Bishop is running for three years on the Select Board.

Rebecca O'Hearn is running for a three-year spot on the Northern Berkshire Regional Vocational School Committee. Teresa Culpepper Rysz is running for three years as trustee of Soldiers Memorial.

A five-year term on the Planning Board is being sought by Margaret Van Peterson. And Jon Olsen is running for a four-year term on the Planning Board.

There are no registered candidates for one year terms as either town auditor or town tree warden, or a three-year term as library trustee.
