"Irving Berlin's White Christmas" coming to Proctors

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. >> "Irving Berlin's White Christmas," the stage adaptation of the 1954 film musical that stars Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, arrives at Proctors, 432 State St., for a five-day engagement, Dec. 22-27.

Performances are scheduled 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22 and 23; 11 a.m. Dec. 24; 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 26; and 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 27. There will be no performance Christmas Day.

The large cast is headed by Sean Montgomery, Jeremy Benton, Kerry Conte and Kelly Sheehan.

"Irving Berlin's White Christmas" tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn and finding their perfect mates in the bargain.

The score includes some of Irving Berlin's best known songs, among them "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep," "Happy Holiday," "Sisters," "Blue Skies" and the enduring title song,
