Kevin Donati's four RBI lead Pittsfield baseball to win

PITTSFIELD -- Pittsfield's baseball team took control in a four-run sixth inning to beat Minnechaug 6-3 on Monday. Kevin Donati's three-run triple to right field was the biggest hit.

Donati was 2 for 3 with four RBI, including an RBI single in the fifth.

"He's our leadoff hitter, so he's a good stick," PHS coach Bob Moynihan said.

Clem Ferris drew a bases-loaded walk in the sixth to tie the game at 3 before Donati's triple. Chad Shade had an RBI sacrifice fly in the third.

Bobby New got the win in relief for PHS (2-1), allowing just one hit in two innings.
