Laliberte Toy Fund

LEE — An additional $1,030 in gifts has been donated to the Laliberte Toy Fund. The fund has raised $2,590 toward its goal of $8,400.

This year, the Laliberte Toy Fund celebrates its 50th anniversary serving youngsters in Lee, Lenox Dale and Tyringham.

According to Sgt. Joseph Buffis, who manages the fund on behalf of the Lee Police Association, more than 120 children age 9 and under will be guaranteed a gift on Dec. 25.

Donations to the Laliberte Toy Fund can be mailed to P.O. Box 21, South Lee, MA 01260, or dropped off at the Lee Emergency Dispatch Center in the basement of Town Hall. Donations will be accepted through Jan. 1.
