Lanesborough: Berkshire Carousel to host family fun day

Berkshire Carousel will host its family fun day "Carouselebration" from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Laston Field on Route 7.

The event will feature performances by Molly Durnin, David Grover, Deja Vu, and Sean Callahan; a wood carving demonstration, food, a beer and wine tent, pony rides, a bounce house, face painting, magicians, and more.

A $5 donation per person is suggested.

The Berkshire Carousel is a non-profit organization, funded primarily by donations and sponsorships, is designed to train volunteers in the building of an authentic classical wooden carousel.

The carousel will be located in the Berkshires and is to be operating in 2013.
