Equus Therapeutic Inc., a nonprofit therapeutic riding program, will hold its fifth annual spring benefit open gymkhana from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at its new home, Wedgewood Stable, 705 Main St.

Gymkhana is described as games on horseback, the one most familiar being barrel racing. Most of the events are timed with fastest times winning the event.

There are classes and games for all ages and rider ability levels. Riders and horses from all over are welcome to attend.

Spectators are also welcome. There will be a snack bar and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the program.
