Lanesborough: Library announces museum pass program

Posted

The Cultural Exposure Program of the Lanesborough Public Library is in its 14th year of providing museum passes plus tickets to many cultural events in the area.

The cultural tickets will be available by a random weekly drawing. Library patrons who visit the library can put their name in the drawing box for a chance to win tickets to Tanglewood lawn, Barrington Stage Company and Shakespeare & Co.

This program is made possible through a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire Council and the Friends of the Lanesborough Public Library.

New museum passes this year include The Mount and Herman Melville’s Arrowhead, along with Mass MoCA, Norman Rockwell, The Berkshire Museum, and Hancock Shaker Village.

Museum passes are available for a 24 hour loan to library patrons. Each pass admits two adults free with children under 12 free.

"Fizz, Boom Read!," the statewide summer reading program begins July 1. For information, call (413) 442-0222.
