Lanesborough: Library to host De Candia photo exhibit


The Lanesborough Public Library will be hosting a photo exhibit by Nicholas De Candia from May 18 through July 1.

The show, titled "Babe," is comprised of photographs of De Candia’s wife of 40 years.

De Candia has taught photography at Berkshire Community College, Southern Vermont College, and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

"To Care," his photo essay about The Christian Center in Pittsfield, was exhibited at the Berkshire Museum as well as at the State House in Boston. His group of large photos, "Facing Berkshires’ Heritage," is on permanent display at The Berkshire Athenaeum.

The opening reception for the exhibit will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at the Lanesborough Public Library. Information: (413) 442-0222.
