Lanesborough: Mount Greylock offers Junior Ranger program


Mount Greylock State Reservation announces the Junior Ranger program for children ages 8-12 accompanied by an adult. The free program is held from 10 a.m. to noon every Thursday, July 10 through Aug. 14.

Space is limited to 25 participants. Parents or guardians must register children by Wednesday, July 9.

Each week, participants will explore different topics that promote outdoor recreation and appreciation of the natural world. Sessions meet at the Mount Greylock Visitor Center, located at 30 Rockwell Road, off Route 7.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate.

The program is sponsored by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. Registration forms are available at the Visitor Center or call (413) 499-4262.
