Lee: Boston Marathon hero to speak at school


Lee Public Schools Wellness Committee will present "An Evening with Jeff Bauman" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in the Lee Middle and High School auditorium, 300 Greylock St.

Bauman is a national hero and a pivotal witness in helping the FBI to identify the Boston Marathon bombers. Bauman lost both legs in the bombing and now travels across the country to tell his story of hope, strength and resilience.

Admission is free and open to the public. The program is appropriate for students in grades 5 and up.
