Lee cookie firm finalist in "sofi" awards competition
LEE -- Klara’s Gourmet Cookies has been named a finalist in the "Outstanding Cookie" category of the Specialty Food Association’s "sofi" Awards competition.
Sofi, which stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation, represents the best of the best from the members of the Specialty Food Association.
Klara’s coconut macaroons were one of 109 finalists selected by a national panel of specialty food professionals from 2,025 entries across 30 award categories.
The winners will be announced by noted chef Dominique Ansel at a red carpet ceremony on June 30 at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.
The sofi Awards are open to members of the Specialty Food Association, a nonprofit trade association established in 1952. It has more than 3,000 members in the U.S. and abroad.
