The Lee Cultural Council has set an Oct. 15 postmark deadline for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community.

These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in, or which will benefit, the town of Lee, including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures.

This year, the Lee Cultural Council will distribute about $3,870 in grants.

For guidelines, contact Shaun T. Mahoney, chairman, at (413) 243-8023 or smahon237@aol.com.

Application forms and more information are available online at www.mass-culture.org/lcc--public.asp. Application forms are also available Lee Town Hall.
