Lee: Family First Series features Grumbling Gryphons


Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children's Theater will present a participatory performance involving children and their parents in "Two Trickster Tales: Native American Animal Stories" at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at The Spectrum Playhouse, 20 Franklin St.

The tales include "How Coyote Shares the Fire: A Plains Indian Story" and "How Mama Skunk Discovered Her Power."

A pre-performance workshop will be led by director Leslie Elias at 9:45 a.m. to train young actors to learn songs, dances and dramatic roles which they will perform afterward in the show.

The performance is part of the free Families First Series sponsored by NBT Bank, Allegrone and Scarafoni Associates.
