Lee: Former N.E. Patriot Chris Sullivan to speak about substance abuse

The Lee Public School Wellness Committee, along with Principal Joe Turmel, will welcome former New England Patriot Super Bowl Champion Chris Sullivan, and his wife, Kathi, to Lee Middle and High School on Wednesday, Dec. 5, to speak about how drugs and alcohol have impacted their lives.

The Sullivans will speak during two assemblies during the school day. A third assembly will be offered for parents and community members that night at 7. All last approximately one hour.

Sullivan will talk about his journey in making it to the NFL and how his battle with anxiety led him down a path of drugs and alcohol. His wife will share the story of how her 17-year-old daughter died at a party in the woods as a result of binge drinking.
