Lee: Gallery to host ‘Writers Read’

Writers Read, a monthly series of established poets and writers reading from their works, will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Good Purpose Gallery Starving Artist Café, 40 Main St.

Each reading will feature a poet and writer reading from their works for approximately 30 minutes each.

Hannah Fries and Lucy Ferriss will be the guests this Friday.

Fries is associate editor and poetry editor at Orion magazine based in Great Barrington. Ferriss is the author of nine books, most recently the novel "The Lost Daughter."

The readings are free. The authors’ books will be available for purchase after their readings.
