Lee: Hydrant flushing to begin Oct. 10

The fire hydrants in the town of Lee are scheduled to be flushed between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. beginning Oct. 10 through November.

The following is the expected street order for flushing:

n Golden Hill, Laurel, Summer, Prospect, West Park, Spring, and Mandalay Road.

n Fairview, Stockbridge Road, George, Devon Road, Spring, Parkview and Mountain View Terrace, Navin Heights, Theresa, and Debra.

n Bradley Park, East Street, Abbey Court, Hartwood Drive, Bradley, Mill, Woodland Road, and Washington Mountain Road.

n East Center, Greylock, Orchard, Center, Columbia, West Center, Canal, Main, Railroad (center of town), and Housatonic.

n Marble, Cone, Park, East Lee, Old Pleasant, Route 102 to South Lee.

Any street not listed would be included with nearest listed street.

Customers experiencing dirty water after the flushing should run their cold water tap for 20-30 minutes. For further information, call the Water Plant at (413) 243-5526.
