Lee: Parking ban in effect through April 1

Friday October 26, 2012

The winter parking ban is in effect from Nov. 1 to April 1 between the hours of 1 and 6 a.m. for all streets in Lee.

Violations may result in a $20 fine for parking in prohibited areas, or a $50 fine for impeding snow removal. In addition, if the vehicle is impeding snow removal, it may be towed at the owner’s expense.

The municipal parking lot off Railroad Street, across from Hyde Place, is approved for use as "off street parking" for all residents living at Hyde Place and in the Main Street apartments. However, those vehicles must be moved by 8 a.m. to allow the DPW to plow the parking lot.

Information: Police Department at (413) 243-5530.
