Lee Police officer resigns

LEE >> Patrol Officer Ryan Lucy has resigned from the Lee Police Department, according to a town official.

On Friday, Town Administrator Robert Nason said Lucy resigned from the department effective Sept. 7.

Nason said the resignation was for personal reasons and declined further comment.

Nason was not able to give a precise date when Lucy joined the department but estimated his time of service at about eight years.

A message left with Lee Police Chief Jeffrey Roosa seeking comment was not returned Friday.

A message left with the Lee Town Clerk's office seeking Lucy's dates of service was also not returned.
