Lenox: Attorney to discuss surrogate decision-making options
Cain Hibbard & Myers is hosting a program on surrogate decision-making from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Lenox Library, Sedgwick Reading Room, 18 Main St.
Attorney Lisa M. McCormack will describe the tools available in Massachusetts to plan for a time when you are no longer able to make decisions for yourself. Healthcare proxies, power of attorneys, guardianships, conservatorships, and more will be covered.
McCormack will also cover what to do in the event a loved one did not make those plans and relatives or friends are forced to turn to a court for help. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be served.
The program is free and open to the public. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
