Lenox: Berkshire Christian School to host Ballet Magnificat!

The Berkshire Christian School is hosting a talk about and a performance from the world’s first professional Christian ballet company this week.

Ballet Magnificat! will perform "The Scarlet Cord" at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Monument Mountain High School. The story is derived from the Biblical account of Rahab, the prostitute turned rescuer. Tickets are $20.

On Friday, Oct. 19, the troupe’s principal dancer, John Vandervelde, will speak at a fundraising dinner at the school which shares space with Hope Church at 259 Kimble St., Lenox. During the dinner, dancers will hold classes for children, 8-18. Tickets for adults are $15, and $10 for children.
