Lenox: Blantyre to host Lenox Library benefit gala
"An Evening at Blantyre Abbey," a spring gala to benefit the Lenox Library, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Blantyre. A cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction are planned.
Built in 1901 and filled with period English antiques, Blantyre offers an ideal setting for a dinner-dance based on the British television series, "Downton Abbey."
Guests at this event will step back into a time of refined elegance as Blantyre’s dinner service staff dress in period uniforms. Black tie and Edwardian-style dress is optional but encouraged.
Tickets are $275 per person, $550 per couple. Underwriters at the $2,500 level will receive four tickets to the gala and underwriters at the $1,000 level will receive two tickets to the gala.
Proceeds will benefit the library. For more information, contact Sharon Hawkes, library director, at (413) 637-2630, firstname.lastname@example.org.
