Lenox boys hoops beats St. Joe's

LENOX -- The Lenox boys basketball team has been trying to put together a full game for weeks.

The Millionaires picked a good time to come together, holding St. Joseph's to 13 first-half points before holding on for a 57-43 victory.

"We just went out and played our kind of basketball and worked hard," said Lenox coach Scott Sibley. "We were consistent throughout the whole game.

Ben Herrick had 25 points to lead Lenox while Andrew Vickery added 11 points and 15 rebounds. St. Joseph's got 18 points from Tank Roberson.

A big key was that first half when Lenox built a big lead.

"Defensively the first half, we came out in a zone and just played hard," Sibley said. "we've been working on it in practice and it finally all came together tonight. ... Tonight, I think, was the best complete game we had, and it ended up showing at the end with the score."
