Posted
The Cantilena Chamber Choir performance, "World's Greatest Christmas Carols," will close the yearlong Lenox 250th anniversary celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 88 Walker St.

The concert will include traditional carols, some new settings of old favorites by American composers and a carol sing-along.

The concert will end with the premiere of the Lenox Suite for piano, violin and choir written by Moshe Knoll as a tribute to Lenox's 250th anniversary. Knoll and Laura Goldberg, violinist, both serve on the faculty of Lenox's Belvoir Terrace.

Allyn Burrows, artistic director at Shakespeare and Company, will be the narrator.

The cost is $25 adults, $20 students/seniors, and free for children 12 years and under. A post-concert reception is included.
