Lenox: Churches plan ecumenical outdoor worship service

As part of the 37th Lenox Apple Squeeze this weekend, local clergy have organized an ecumenical outdoor worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, under a tent in Lilac Park at the corner of Main Street and Sunset Avenue.

The United Methodist Church of Lenox, Trinity Episcopal Church and St. Ann Catholic Church are participating in the service. Musicians from all three churches will lead a range of styles including gospel, a children's choir, and a community choir.

An offering will be collected and donated to the Lenox Food Pantry, a ministry supported by these churches and others in Lenox.

After the service, a free cup of coffee will be available at the Sit & Sip hospitality tent of The United Methodist Church.

The public is invited.
