Historian, lecturer and retired art and art education professor Julianne Agar will intertwine two legendary families of Czarist Russia when she presents "Faberge, the Eggs and the Romanovs" in a Tea and Talk at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, 104 Walker St.

Part of the Gilded Age Week festivities sponsored by the town of Lenox, the lecture will be followed by a Victorian Tea.

Agar’s visual presentation will portray the artistry of the Faberge family who created the jeweled eggs and other exquisite "objets d’art" for members of Russia’s imperial family.

Tickets for the Agar lecture and tea are $16 per person for nonmembers and $14 for members. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited.

For information or reservations, call Ventfort Hall at (413) 637-3206 or click on info@gildedage.org.
