Lenox: Garden club exhibits celebrate pollinators

A flower show and exhibits celebrating pollinators such as bees and birds will be open to the public in the Berkshire Room of the Mansion at Cranwell Resort and Spa from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Admission is free.

The flower show is a key part of a meeting of the 18 New England Zone I garden clubs, members of the Garden Club of America. Nearly 75 representatives of the clubs plus GCA officers and national board members will attend the two day meeting at Cranwell.

The host club for the zone meeting is The Lenox Garden Club.

The theme for the flower show, called "Beehive of Activity," celebrates the Western Honey Bee, native to Europe, Asia and Africa and introduced to North America in the 1600s.
