"My Life My Health" workshops will be offered at the Lenox Community Center beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11, and will run for six weeks from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

This chronic disease self-management program was licensed and developed by Stanford University. Elder Services staff and volunteers have been trained to co-facilitate learning and discussion for small groups of individuals with chronic health issues.

During the interactive workshops, those living with a chronic health condition share their experiences of the many challenges and struggles they face.

The workshops will cover topics such as attaining optimal health, remaining active and independent, reducing pain and fatigue, communicating with healthcare professionals, making informed treatment choices, managing stress and learning to relax, and increasing energy through improved lifestyle choices.

Call (413) 637-5535 for more information and to register.
