Lenox: Historic Lenox walking tours

The Lenox 250th Anniversary celebration features two walking tours this weekend. Events are free and open to the public.

Lucy Kennedy will lead a tour of current and former in-town estates on Saturday, Sept. 16. The tour features Groton Place, Ethelwynde, Stoneover, Belvoir Terrace, and others.

The tour is limited to the first 20 people. Meet at 1 p.m. at Boston University Tanglewood Institute, 45 West St.

Jan Chague will lead a three hour moderate hike in historic Kennedy Park at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. Participants will view remnants of the former Aspinwall Hotel which burned down in 1931.
