Lenox: Lenox 250th social, quilt raffle slated

The Lenox 250th anniversary quilt will be raffled off at the Lenox 250th Social scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Lenox Community Center, 65 Walker St.

The quilt, designed by Arline Callan, and created by Callan, Karen Pratt and Susan Morris, is on display at the Community Center.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or six for $25, and are available at the Lenox Visitors Center, 4 Housatonic St.; Lenox Community Center; Lenox Library, 18 Main St.; and The Bookstore, 11 Housatonic St.

The social will include entertainment by Berkshire Sings; "Listen to the Hills," an original play about Lenox Founder's Day; and desserts.

The social is free and open to the public.
