Lenox: Library conducting annual book drive

Monday February 18, 2013

The Lenox Library is now conducting its annual book collection drive for its August book sale, and is accepting all books in good condition, for adults and children, hard cover or paperback, plus CDs, and DVDs.

Collectible books are especially welcomed. Encyclopedias, magazines, VHS videos, and LPs are not accepted.

To donate books or other materials to the library for this major fundraising event, call (413) 445-5679 or email ibrowner@roadrunner.com for information about where to bring them. Pick-ups can be arranged if necessary.

All proceeds from this annual book sale benefit The Lenox Library’s many services and programs offered to the public year-round free of charge.

This year’s book sale will take place on Aug. 23 to 25 at The Lenox Library, 18 Main St., and will feature over 30,000 books at bargain prices in all categories.
